This ‘practical course in Enlightenment’ shows us how we can follow the Buddha on his journey – day by day, week by week – towards our full potential. It offers a map for understanding what spiritual practice is in essence, whatever era we live in. The course is based on a book by Maitreyabandhu – a prize-winning poet and teacher at the London Buddhist Centre – and mixes poetry, myth and conceptual teachings, with down-to-earth instruction.
The in-person sessions include guided meditations at the start and a hard copy of the book (Zoom participants will receive a digital copy). Zoom sessions feature interactive teaching and group discussion. All participants will be sent pre-recorded guided meditations during the week.
